The Pink Flamenco Children's Dance Academy is a subdivision of the Austin Flamenco Academy dedicated solely to educating the littlest aspiring flamencos in town.

 We offer a wide variety of classes for all different age groups in a fun, supportive and nurturing environment.

FALL

FLAMENQUITOS Ages 3/6  (Saturdays 9:00-9:30am)

This is the class for our youngest age group and focuses on Flamenco movements and music, and most of all, making sure everyone has a great time  It's a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning! This class will be offered in person

FLAMENQUITOS II Ages 7/12 (Saturdays 9:35-10:20am)

This class is an extension of the flamequitos class, but is a little longer, requiring more focus on their part, but of course they will get more out of it as well!  Help set your little ones on a path filled with dance and music! Zapateado (footwork), Braceo (arms), Floreo (hands) and Compas/Palmas (rhythms and clapping).

FLAMENQUITOS III TEEN (Saturdays 12:30pm-1:15pm)

This class will cover all of the general technique of flamenco Zapateado (footwork), Braceo (arms), Floreo (hands), Compas/Palmas (rhythms and clapping) and Castanets. Students will work on placement as well as full choreographies.

 

SESSION DATES:  

All Flamenquitos/Youth classes are 30-45 minutes.

Winter/Spring 2024

Ages 3-4 9:00-9:30am Saturday

Ages 5-7 9:35-10:20am Saturday

Ages 8-13 12:30-1:15pm Saturday

Dates run from January 13th- May 25th. No class March 30th

Tuition is non-refundable

PRICING:

For the winter/spring session

  • Tuition- $400

    A $5 convenience fee will be added to the above prices for online registration.  Any payments made in person by check or cash will not need to include the extra $5 and will be for the exact prices listed above.
